The historical account of Captain John Phillips (1721-1724)
Captain John Phillips was a cutthroat and a scallywag — and the guy who set off a list of “rules” that were adopted by seafarers everywhere.
Phillips is an infamous pirate during the late 1700s. His exploits in real life are considered to be even more adventurous than the many works of fiction he inspired. While there are many archives recording his doings, unfortunately, much of his past is a mystery.
